The Manager Product Design & Development (Ground & Aircraft) is responsible for leading the product development lifecycle within the customer product and service portfolio across the Qantas Lounge and Fleet network (Domestic & International). Key responsibilities include translating and developing approved product related business cases and strategy initiatives through to implementation to drive commercial value, competitive advantage and business efficiencies. The role communicates approved strategies across business units and works cross functionally with internal partners and external design consultants through the development and implementation phases for projects to deliver improvements to the customer experience driving increased customer satisfaction. You'll have - 5 years experience within the airline industry with an understanding of the operational, customer and competitive environments is essential Business degree or design discipline qualification preferred Demonstrated experience of working in a broad role combining translation and development of strategic concepts through to day-to-day delivery and operations Proven stakeholder management skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across business units, functions and teams Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to cater to a variety of audiences at all levels Solutions orientated resourcefulness, demonstrated creativity and abstract problem-solving skills Strong analytical, interpersonal and time management skills Self-motivated and pro-active attitude Developed leadership skills and effective team builder Well-developed project management and implementation skills with the ability to work under pressure, priorities tasks and meet deadlines Ability to create collaborative forums, listen and influence outcome Why Qantas?
