This combined role will see you working closely with Senior Management to design, draft, estimate and see projects through the manufacturing process to completion and delivery. About the role: Have an in-depth understanding of and experience working with a manufacturing process Produce AutoCAD drawings and 3D drawings with Solidworks Liaise with customers regarding design improvements and changes as identified and necessary Liaise with production team members for prioritisation and scheduling Understand the scope of work and determine key variables for cost estimates Analyse plans and project documentation to estimate costs Research, source, negotiate, and obtain the best prices from suppliers Assess financial, technical, and operational risks of the project Skills and Experience: Experienced in designing, estimating and drafting within a metal fabrication setting i.e. stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and/or Solidworks Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Meticulous organisational skills, ability to prioritize works in view of timelines High attention to detail Have a metal trade background, not essential but highly desirable Contribute your skills to the success of an Australian-made product leader Apply now to be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
