Audacious About the Role - POSITION SUMMARY • Ensure the daily tasks of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Night Audit, Income Audit and Cash Reconciliation functions are being carried out timely, accurately and to required standards. Identify and resolve daily finance related issues/problems in conjunction with respective members of staff. Review daily general cashier reports and monthly posting summary for accuracy and import into general ledger. Obtain daily rebates and review for adequacy of explanation and evidence of appropriate approval in accordance with Marriott International's Policies and Procedures. Assist in monitoring the Hotel's compliance to Corporate and internal Policies & Procedures and to implement new Policies & Procedures when necessary. Coordinate and manage hotel archiving system. Attend Meetings as required. Demonstrate clear behaviours and management style that align to the Property Service Culture Standards and Brand Core values. Effectively implement and support all Marriott International's related programs. Thorough understanding and compliance with property Hotel Award. Ensure 100% compliance with all local Legislation. Maintain company confidentiality, ensuring that business dealings within the organization are not discussed with outside parties ; protect company assets.
