Jacobs has an opportunity for a Lead Civil Designer - OpenRoads to join the team in Perth. The main purpose of this role is to provide superior standard drafting/design services to the roads and highways team for our core clients within the ANZ region, specifically Western Australia. As specialist designer, you will also be responsible for reviewing design and drafting and ensuring compliance with the Jacobs drafting standards. As a specialist designer, you will be responsible for project design and drafting services and will be required to ensure that the project design and drafting tasks are completed on time, within budget and to the high technical standard which is expected of Jacobs by its clients. You will be required to work to instructions and to co-ordinate your work effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, other Designers and Drafters. The key to the role of Lead Designer will be providing leadership and support to the ANZ regional and GID design and drafting teams, including training and checking of their work to ensure that it meets the expectations of our local clients. You will be a key contributor to how design and documentation integrates digitally.ANZTransport APMETransport LI-DG1 Here's what you'll need: Diploma in Civil Design/Engineering or equivalent Proven experience in software Bentley OpenRoads, 12D, MX Comprehensive understanding of Main Roads standards and Australian Standards Advancing operating knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads with a track record of implementation of OpenRoads on project delivery Effective communication skills Have a passion and drive for digital engineering and how this relates to the production of project deliverables Jacobs.
