They are seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Multiple positions are available across two sites with room for progression, further learning and development opportunities. Position Overview: Detailed orientated Maintenance Electrician to ensure all operations of the food manufacturing equipment run smoothly and have minimal downtime to avoid production delays. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an FMCG environment, maintaining electrical systems, and have a strong understanding of OHS and WHS food safety compliance. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of machinery. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address mechanical and electrical challenges. Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of production machinery. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment inspections. Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance performance. Qualifications: Electrical Trade Qualification (Australian certified) Minimum of 5 years qualified experience within an industrial environment. Food manufacturing or other FMCG preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Accountability Initiative and ability to self-motivate Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and circuits. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation systems. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong commitment to workplace safety.
