About the Role Council has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, who values innovation and excellence, to lead our Civil Design team. Currently the team has a focus in delivering design programs pertaining to a wide range of civil infrastructure projects including roads, stormwater, carparks, footpaths and traffic related projects. You will play a key role in delivering Department business plan, Council Strategic Plan, Council 4 years Deliver Plan, Council 1-year Operational plans. This role will utilise your extensive design and construction experience, along with your leadership skills, to deliver civil design project that will benefit the Ryde Community. Your commencing annual salary will range from $122,815 - $159,660 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance Superannuation Leaseback Vehicle, dependent on your skills, experience, and qualifications. Key Requirements Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring a civil based design team and providing sound construction advice. Proven experience in road and drainage design, footpath design, traffic facilities, flood modelling and water sensitive urban design Expert computer skills and proven experience in computer-aided design (CAD), Civil 3D, Drains (stormwater modelling program), HEC RAS and Tuflow High level professional and technical design skills including problem-solving, project costing and budgeting skills.
