The Role: Reliability is the cornerstone in transport and to ensure reliability we need a fleet that is maintained to a high level. To help us achieve this objective, Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a Spare Parts Interpreter / Warehouse Operator for the Melbourne workshop. This is a brand new role that is available for you to make your own Your main responsibilities will include: Spare parts interpreter on KW, DAF, FUSO & Trailers Ordering, receiving, and booking out parts. Receiving & rotation of stock Monitor stock levels and reordering when needed. Storeman duties including putting away stock, barcoding and doing stock counts. Asist with fleet maintenance administration when required. About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Willing to learn a build a career in a workshop environment. Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening. Be prepared to work occasional weekends. You must be enthusiastic, professional & reliable with good communication skills. A commitment to work health and safely. Solid computer skills - experience on Parts systems highly advantageous Be able to persevere with a busy and challenging role. And above all, the willingness to learn and enjoy what you are doing. Prior experience of Parts Interpretation in a trade, retail or similar environment will be highly regarded but not essential.
