This a permanent employment opportunity and can be located in any major QLD centre. This is a Paraprofessional Grade Three position with salaries starting from $144,000 12.75% super. The Role Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of substation (primary and secondary), and lines design drafting for Yurika infrastructure projects, which are fit-for-purpose and provide economic technical solutions that meet the requirements of customers and other relevant stakeholders. About You Critical to your success in the role is your extensive understanding of CAD and associated software systems. In this role, you will find yourself working through a number of responsibilities including but not limited to: Responsible for designs and any associated design information being completed in accordance with internal and external customer's requirements, and standards. This may include attendance at customer/stakeholder meetings to support design discussions. Manage timely and effective delivery of assigned work and ensure appropriate resources (as directed) are contacted and engaged as required, and in accordance with project requirements. Actively contribute to creating, updating and maintaining manuals, standards, electronic drawing management systems, and the customisation of drafting compatible units. Develop sustainable customer and stakeholder relationships to enable the delivery of services that support customer, community and business requirements. Responsible for collecting, recording, processing and analysing information completely and accurately for each design project. Provide leadership, mentoring and on the job technical training as required, and contribute to the development and continual improvement of services that are provided by the Infrastructure Services Delivery teams. This may include leading improvement projects on behalf of the team. Collaborates effectively managing information and confidentiality requirements across Energy Queensland Limited in accordance with applicable ring-fencing parameters. Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusive workplace. Compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and practices Essentials Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
