About you You will be a Project Engineer looking for a range of challenging and industry leading projects. Ideally, you will have experience in water, oil & gas, although experiences across manufacturing, infrastructure or heavy industry is also valued. The role offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team, working with a diverse range of clients on brownfields projects and new builds. Success in this role will see you offer: About You 5-10 years’ experience working in water, mining, utilities or hydrocarbons industries. Degree or trade qualified – Electrical Desirable Site experience is essential. Relevant experience in a project or design engineering team, with site and office deliverables. Confidence in project practices, principles and procedures. Experience in lump sum EPC projects. Experience and understanding of working with project phases from concept through to commissioning. Ability to work with site and office-based teams (design, trades, client and contractors). Experience in operating across a range of multi-discipline teams to achieve the project goals and objectives. Experience in planning, scheduling and monitoring projects. Experience in implementing progress measurement systems and its update. Experience in preparing tender documents and managing the tender process. Highly developed communication, team and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities Monitor, control and report progress of projects against multiple project timelines, milestones and key performance indicators. Manage the execution of small projects, including managing on site works as may be required. Identify and document potential risks and develop effective control strategies to mitigate and minimise. Assist with the interface between engineering and construction team members, sub-contractors and key stakeholders to provide solutions and support successful delivery of projects. Use scheduling and document management tools to update, track and record project performance. Identify value engineering opportunities. Assist with general project control duties including: Management of variations by analysing the implications of scope change on issues such as cost, safety, quality and schedule. Generating regular reports for key stakeholders. Assist in the management of all variation/TQ/RFI and action registers.
