About the role: Lendlease currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager to join our team in Defence Business Unit and be a part of the design and delivery of an upcoming project in South Australia. You will be working alongside a team of Design Managers and reporting to the Project Manager from the initial stages of the project through to delivery, assisting with multiple design packages. No two days will be the same in this exciting role, and will involve overseeing design programmes, and production schedules, maintaining design quality, compliance, and performance, managing digital engineering teams, contributing to value engineering, attending design meetings, and managing clients, all with the aim of ensuring technical and contractual requirements are met. To be successful you will need: 2-5 years' experience in the industry. Experience on large scale commercial building projects, will be highly regarded. Ability to manage complex design processes to high technical standards in a robust, cost managed environment. Ability to communicate with influence and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
