Although you will be working primarily from our head office located in Campbellfield, our projects span across greater Melbourne.As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating a diverse range of commercial construction projects. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery to clients. You will plan, procure, and execute projects within their designated scope and budget, proactively addressing potential risksYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Managing the project team/s on-site and acting as the key point of contact for all stakeholdersWorking closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet expectations and maintain required standardsEnsuring adherence to budget, timelines, and project plansTaking accountability for reporting, documentation, and addressing any issues that may ariseMonitoring progress and resolving issues as they ariseContributing to improvements in design and communicating relevant information to consultants, authorities, site managers, and subcontractorsAbout YouBringing relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a similar field, you will also have a minimum of 5 years project management experience.Your Project Management experience from a construction background will be considered essential, as will your experience with fresh builds, form work and concreting. With the ability to thrive in challenging situations, you maintain a forward focus in the face of obstacles and delays, achieving key targets while prioritising site safety. Your proficiency in reading plans, particularly for commercial construction, and holistic perspective enable you to make informed decisions and drive projects to success.As such, you will possess the following attributes:Communication: Effectively communicate with people at all levels, including CEOs, by conveying information clearly and fostering understandingCollaboration: Utilise interpersonal skills, foster teamwork, and leverage leadership experience to create a positive work environment, maximising team productivity and driving project successEfficiency: Effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and organise resources to ensure productivity, meet deadlines, and achieve project successLead by example: Bring energy and enthusiasm daily, inspiring those around you to achieve and exceed milestonesWith a strong emphasis on quality, cost awareness, and effective information management, you can control and drive site operations throughout the construction process, building and maintaining productive relationships along the way.
