Design Engineer, Mechanical Location: Melbourne Salary: $100k - $140k super bonus Overview Mission Critical Recruitment are seeking a junior - intermediate level mechanical design engineer to work directly for a developer of hyperscale data centre facilities. Joining a small team, you'll initially be supporting on local projects, but with projects happening throughout Asia, you'll support on a wider basis also. As you'll be working for the client, your job will include supporting through planning and pre-construction phases, setting design briefs, managing the consultant, supporting throughout construction through to completion. Key Requirements include: Mechanical Engineering degree holder Chartership or Professional Engineer status advantageous 3-8 years post university experience with data centre design projects under your belt Strong experience of designing industrial sized cooling systems Passionate about innovation Either consulting or contractor background would be considered This is a unique opportunity to join a cash rich developer who are building large data centre facilities globally.
