The Ventia Operations Centre has exciting permanent full-time opportunities for vibrant and highly engaged Customer Service Consultants, who are inspired by customer excellence The position is in the heart of the Parramatta CBD, close to public transport. This exciting role will be specifically dealing with our clients within the Defence industry. The position offers $27.66 per hour under our Clerks Award > Adult Level 3. We have 2 positions available, shift times below: Monday 10.30am - 7pm, Tuesday - Friday 11am to 7pm Mon 10am to 6.30pm, Tuesday - Friday 10.30am to 6.30pm You must be an Australian citizen and be able to hold a defence clearance. Calls will range in complexity but predominantly be taking requests for maintenance work and following a process to create work order requests. Respond to high volume inbound calls from defence personnel and members of the community. Match customer needs to solutions and first call resolutions. Manage and provide exceptional customer experience through dispatching work orders. Case management of service outcomes/managing urgent or high priority work order needing fast resolution. Maintain and update various databases, spreadsheets, and documents. What you bring to the role: Ability to listen and demonstrate empathy to customers. Previous customer service, trade coordinator or call centre experience desirable. Have strong passion for customer experience and effective communication skills. Must be tech savvy, have strong keyboard skills. Resilience when dealing with challenging calls. You enjoy a fast paced, high-volume environment.
