Our growing client list include multiple leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, and architects. We are looking for you, our next Civil Engineer to join our high performing team in our Melbourne CBD office (right next to Flagstaff train station). Here's what you’ll be doing day to day: Delivering high quality and innovative civil designs and documentation for single and multi-unit dwellings and basements End to end ownership of project work from concept design to construction within delivery time frames which includes visiting, attending and managing client meetings to discuss scope of works, expectations and problem solving Liaise and manage communications with council’s, variety of clients and developers, and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines Work closely with internal engineers to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects You will need to have: A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution 3 year experience in civil design. Drive Licenses Experience in the design of stormwater and drainage layout for high-end residential buildings, commercial buildings, and warehouse. Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools including DRAIN (advantageous) A network of clients who have been satisfied with your approach to civil consultancy. An ability to build rapport with all types of clients and project stakeholders. A drive to further develop your career and assist with business development. Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes.
