About the role We are recruiting for a Senior Lawyer to lead the delivery of legal services to projects and tender teams in Australia and Indonesia. We seek someone with at least 7 years' post admission experience gained in either a large corporate environment or private practice. Solid contract drafting skills are essential, and prior experience with mining and construction contacts would be beneficial. You must be a motivated self-starter, commercially focused, and able to lead transactions and work without close supervision. Responsibilities of the role will include: Tender review and advice to estimating teams on contract documentation, letters of intent, insurance, joint ventures, and other bidding structures; Negotiation and drafting of mining and construction contracts. Legal support during the delivery of projects such as negotiating and drafting subcontracts and supplier agreements and preparing contract manuals for project staff. Dispute and litigation management. Legal input into corporate projects such as acquisitions. Other corporate and company secretarial support as required.
