Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH884650 Appointment Pool Hilton Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of dedicated Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2025. Further to our successful 2022 Public School Review, we are continuing to develop our consistent and connected Literacy and Numeracy pedagogy. During 2024 our focus is to refining lesson structure, data-based planning, CMS (Classroom Management Strategies) & PBS (Positive Behaviour Support). Our teachers engage in collaborative planning meetings, Phase of Learning meetings and curriculum team processes. At Hilton PS our teachers are leading change in quality differentiated teaching practice. This year our intentional teaching of English will include Letters & Sounds Kindergarten to Year 4 (K-4) & for SAER (Students at Educational Risk), Words Their Way, Talk for Writing and whole school professional learning about The Big Six for Literacy, Brightpath Writing and Top Ten Maths. We offer specialist teaching of Visual Arts, Music, Physical Education and AUSLAN. Our outdoor classrooms support intentional teaching through Nature pedagogy: "Everything we can teach inside a classroom, we can teach outside". Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education).
