Major Wind Farm / Marine Infrastructure project. newly created role working provider of import and export logistics services. My client is a leading provider of import and export logistics services with a market capitalisation in excess of $4b. They currently have numerous projects happening Australia wide and and are in the process of adding to what is already considered as a progressive and industry leading team. They are looking to appoint a Construction Project Manager who will report into the General Manager, Strategy & Development to ensure deliverable and desired outcomes are met within set budget, timeframes and milestones. Primary Purpose The primary purpose of the Construction Manager’s role is to oversee the full delivery of a marine infrastructure project in regional Victoria. The facility will play a vital strategic role in Australia’s energy transition. The facility is being developed by a large ASX listed company. Specific Responsibilities Delivery of the full scope of the Construction Management contract with the client right through the full project inclusive of; Early works, Detailed design, Infrastructure delivery Management of the Managing Contractor Ensuring site Safety Compliance Management of all subcontractor packages Reporting and compliance Familiarity with the obligations of the Principal Contractor under Victorian OH&S Law is essential. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Engineer, Project Manager, Builder, Civil Infrastructure Demonstrable experience in managing large infrastructure projects Experience in the delivery of marine infrastructure would be well regarded The role requires a driven individual that can handle the pressures of project timeliness, in addition to this you will have the support of a manager who is highly regarded within the organisation.
