Do you have a passion for mining and engineering? Join the dynamic team of one of our clients in North Queensland as a highly motivated Auto Electrician. About the role: Be part of the crew at our mine site in North Queensland. This is a temporary to permanent position with the opportunity for long-term employment. Work on a flexible roster of 7 days on and 7 days off - all dayshift. Performing diagnostic electrical tests and carrying out electrical repairs on the underground mobile equipment and underground light vehicle fleet. Installing new electrical systems as needed. Completing assigned work and related paperwork. Ensuring compliance with environmental procedures and standards. Adhering to all safety and environmental considerations, as well as company policies and procedures. Demonstrating a proactive approach to safety through positive leadership. Having a strong commitment to practicing safe work habits. Always wearing Personal Protective Equipment while in the production environment. Remaining alert and promptly identifying, correcting, and reporting any unsafe conditions. Following operating procedures and complying with all regulatory requirements. Positively reinforcing and effectively communicating all safety-related requirements. Requirements Trade Qualification - Auto Electrician Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile plant maintenance in a mining environment Sandvik DD421 Development Drill Epiroc S7C Simba Production Drill Cat R2900 Loader Cat R1700 Loader Epiroc MT65 Truck Familiarity with CAN bus system, with a preference for experience in remote control systems Hold a High Risk Work License - EWP Proficient in Working Safely at Heights Ability to diagnose electrical faults within equipment systems Hold an Airconditioning Licence Skilled in installing electrical systems Hold a valid Manual Driver's Licence Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment such as G Scan and Electronic Technician
