We have many other benefits as well, to see a complete list of all our other Employee benefits and discounts, visit Working with Us - Why you'll love it What you’ll be doing in this role Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this role will be responsible for general electrical support including installation and repairs of PLC controls systems, light and power, working on call maintenance part time and other general ad hoc duties associated with the position. Other key responsibilities will include: Performing and producing a high-quality standard of service to the hospital Have a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills liaising with patients, their families and visitors where required Developing strong and collaborative working relationships with colleagues and contractors and all relevant stakeholders Maintaining a safe and productive workplace with a strong focus on adherence to all WHS safety legislative requirements Supporting the wider team through involvement in department meetings Wholeheartedly contributing to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement; and Actively contributing to a culture of comradery & teamwork Who we’re looking for Current or previous experience in a general electrical role A passion for the profession with great attention to detail Have a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring all works are completed to a quality standard in a timely manner Ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders both internal and external Demonstrated ability to multitask multiple priorities Ability to work independently or as part of a team environment NSW Electrical Licence Knowledge and experience in healthcare maintenance & electrical environment is desirable The willingness to complete any additional training if required About Us Adventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San), NSW’s largest and most comprehensive private hospital with a dedicated team of 2400 employees, over 1000 Medical Officers, and 300 Volunteers.
