The Miners Rest Motel is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our front-of-house team. We are a high-volume motel with dining and bar facilities in the heart of Kalgoorlie. Our venue caters to mining, business contractors and the local community. A potential sponsorship opportunity is available for the right candidate. Applicants must already be in Australia. The Offer Sponsorship opportunities - available after 3 months probation. Australian residents encouraged to apply. Heavily subsidized shared accommodation with all utilities included. 5 shifts per week over a 38 hour week with option for paid overtime up top 50 hours Meals included on shift. We have two venues and promote from within Options to work between two venues for additional hours The Role Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant (Lunch & Dinner). Communicate with the Head Chef & Operations Manager. Lead a team of experienced individuals and provide training for ongoing growth. Support operation manager on targets and budgets. Provide insight to management regarding restaurant improvements, employee needs & general comments. Build professional relationships with long term clientele and other guest. About You: Must already be in Australia. Minimum 2 years hospitality management experience for sponsorship required. Senior levels preferred. Have a positive upbeat outlook on life. Enjoys working in fast paced team. Flexibility to work as required on a changing roster, most importantly weekends and public holidays as needed. Experience in additional duties, stocktake, ordering, financials etc. A la carte dining bar experience preferred. Receptionist experience a bonus. Current driver's license.
