We are looking for a Support Worker to assist our client with community access, domestic duties around the home and offering companionship. Our client typically enjoys going out and about on drives, swimming at the beach, walking, shopping and accessing various community venues. This role will suit someone who enjoys supporting people with mental health challenges to get out and about having funMental health experience would be advantageous.Shifts are typically 8 hours in duration. Our rosters are published 4 weeks in advance and we value committed and loyal staff. Essential Skill Requirements:Demonstrated experience (6 months), knowledge and understanding of people living with disabilitiesHighly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsExperience providing respectful supports within a person's homeHighly Desirable:Mental Health First AidPlus Mandatory:Accredited Certificate in Mental Health/Disability/Community servicesCurrent NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent First Aid including CPRValid Driver's Licence & VehicleNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleInfection Control Training Who are we?
