Primary Location VIC - Melbourne Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Coordinator to join Service Stream in our Fixed Comms Telecommunications team. About the Role Service Stream's Fixed Communications team are currently seeking a Design Coordinator to join our growing company. You will be responsible for the Coordination and delivery of the design components of the Service Stream Communications ODM Program Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time Location: Melbourne VIC / Parramatta NSW / Fortitude Valley QLD Reporting Line: National Design Manager Key Responsibilities Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of all design requirements. Assigning and allocating work in a timely manner. Facilitate communication among project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in creating, communicating, validation and following up on all supplier claims to ensure timely completion for all jobs. Track and report on design turnaround times accurately to maintain program integrity. Collaborate closely with offshore suppliers to address and escalate any design inquiries, ensuring smooth project progress. Accurately close out system tasks to facilitate management reporting. Work closely with the Design Lead and field coordinators to ensure seamless project execution. Serve as the single point of contact for clients/customers, providing efficient communication and support throughout project delivery Create & maintain design process documentation. About You Previous Coordination experience in services sectors such as Telecommunications/Power/Water etc. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Strong Excel skills are highly desirable). Previous experience in work management programs A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a vibrant "can-do" attitude. Capability to establish positive relationships with all project stakeholders. Proven project coordination skills. Understanding of project management processes and tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good relationship and communication skills.
