Our services are provided at sites across greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains. About The Role This opportunity is for those seeking either casual or permanent part time roles and will require travel to sites in the Sutherland Shire. Our Sutherland Community Hub offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities which include cooking and exercise. Our day programs run from Monday through to Friday, 9am-3pm. Essentially, availability between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm is ideal. We also support community-based outings and independent living. Our Social and Community outings are generally from 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday, using public transport to various destinations. We also offer a Saturday afternoon/evening out in which the hours may vary. Our Flexible Support have a variety of shifts across Monday to Sunday which are generally between 4 and 8 hours. You could earn between $32.21 and $33.22 per hour as a base rate. You will be required to: Support customers to access and be a part of their local community. Offer personal care and administer medication Assist in building their skill levels and capacity development Support with effective communication techniques Implement and deliver exciting and goal orientated activities About you Your success in this role will rely on your ability to be patient, caring and passionate about helping others. Have an open mind and think outside the box Have a positive can-do attitude, creating best practice outcomes for the people you support. Essential for this role Physically fit to perform the role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Sound computer skills. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts. Preferred Experience in providing care services in disability, health or community sector. Qualification in Disability, Community or Individual Support. Successful applicants will require an Australian Drivers Licence, a full COVID-19 vaccination and booster and a current First Aid Certificate. An offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre-employment medical and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
