Our client is seeking a Forklift Operator to work in their busy yard near Penrith. Working closely with a small team, you will be unloading stillages of glass and steel building products into the yard prior to their despatch to site. With three sites to cover you will be working smart to ensure the smooth flow of goods through the yard. Reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator, your day to day work will include: Receiving deliveries to the yard Storing delivered goods in their appropriate locations according to the site map Retrieving outgoing deliveries Loading trucks for despatch to site To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate your: Previous experience operating a forklift (and your forklift licence) Familiarity with unloading/loading trucks and containers Experience in a fast-paced environment Clear verbal communication skills If you're looking for your next (long-term) assignment, and you like what you've read above, then send us through your updated resume by hitting "APPLY".
