About the Opportunity Our services are uniquely shaped for each of our customers based on who they are, what their goals are, what they need to achieve them and when they need that support. We are seeking experienced support workers to assist our customers with the following services: Community access and transport Social supports Full personal care including dental hygiene Manual handling Oral eating and drinking - Mealtime support, Dysphagia management Domestic duties Clinical Support - Training provided Medication administration Epilepsy/Seizure management About the Role Enhanced Lifestyles are looking for 4 experienced disability support workers to assist across a 7-day roster (specially Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays), for shifts assigned between 9am - 8pm located around St Mary's. The successful candidate will be provided full training shifts to assist with providing customer specific supports. The role will require experience working with PEJ, epilepsy/seizure management, non verbal communication and intellectual disabilities. Skills & experience Current South Australian Working with Children's Screening (Working) Current DHS Disability clearance or NDIS Workers Clearance (Working) Certificate III in Individual Support (Desirable) or equivalent experience Medication administration training Current First Aid certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) completed in the last 3 years Current CPR certificate completed in the last 12 months Current Manual Handling certificate completed in the last 2 years, with experience with transfers Driver’s licence NDIS Workers Orientation Module COVID-19 Infection Control Training Our Story Enhanced Lifestyles was created over 30 years ago and designed by people living with disability to achieve an important goal: to make sure customers have a say in how their services are delivered.
