ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Warehouse Operative will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of our company's stock. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, work well within a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to upholding workplace health and safety standards. Main responsibilities include: Work Health & Safety (WH&S): Comply with all WH&S directives and regulations to ensure the safety of all team members and visitors. Take proactive measures to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others. General Warehouse Duties: Receive and accurately log incoming stock, ensuring compliance with paperwork and system records. Conduct quality checks, including batch and expiry date verification, to adhere to First Expired First Out (FEFO) principles. Perform routine replenishment tasks and assist with sales order picking, packing, and dispatching. Participate in stocktaking and cycle counting activities to maintain stock accuracy. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization to uphold safety standards. Assist in special finishing, kit assembly, and processing returns as required. Adhere to all company procedures, policies, and instructions provided by Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager. ABOUT YOU Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to achieve targets efficiently and effectively. Self-motivation and willingness to learn from feedback. Problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions. Proficiency in numeracy and literacy. Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar role preferred. Ability to work under deadlines in a positive team environment.
