Warehouse Operator — Perth CBD, Perth

What's the role? We are looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Operator to join our team in Perth. The Warehouse Operator role is responsible for efficient day to day operations of the warehouse. In addition, the key focus areas are to identify opportunities that will reduce warehouse cost or increase sales margin, streamline warehouse processes, and to communicate these recommendations to decision makers in order to facilitate change. What does the role involve? Preparation and loading of outbound customer deliveries including picking, packing, printing delivery paperwork, and booking of carrier services. Effective stock management including adequate stock rotation, obsolescence monitoring and adhering to correct processes. Completing all required dangerous goods paperwork for in line with the legal requirements of both the physical delivery and the carrier. Receipt and unloading of all inbound deliveries including checking off receipts, processing receipts in SAP, and the processing and follow-up of any receipt discrepancies that may have occurred. Comply with all WH&S requirements, including but not limited to manual handling processes, personal protective equipment requirements, dangerous goods storage and handling, and the safe usage of materials handling equipment. Maintaining a high standard in warehouse safety and cleanliness across the facility. Conduct all inventory cyclic counts and annual asset counts in line with Hilti global requirements to ensure stock integrity. Maintain a high level of performance in line with Hilti KPI's, ICS Controls and standard processes. What you need is: Previous experience in a warehouse operator role Forklift Licence Good analytical skills and spreadsheet capability. SAP experience is a plus Strong communication skills Education completion to a minimum secondary school level Fantastic work ethic, team player and motivated attitude Good physical fitness, ability to perform physical lifting Intermediate computer skills Must be highly detail oriented and be assertive with your execution and follow-up skills. Good organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and working to strict deadlines Why should you apply?
