Instructional Designer - Digital Passport Project 3 month contract Brisbane CBD location Position Overview: As an Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and effective learning solutions that meet the needs of employees, clients, and stakeholders. Working closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and project managers, you will design and develop instructional materials that leverage best practices in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and technology. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyse learning needs and objectives. Design and develop high-quality instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, simulations, and assessments. Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. Utilise authoring tools and learning management systems to develop and deploy e-learning content. Conduct needs assessments, task analyses, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in instructional design and e-learning. The successful applicant will have: Proven experience designing and developing instructional materials for diverse audiences. Proficiency with instructional design methodologies, e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), and learning management systems. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field is highly desirable.
