Full Time, permanent position Must be PR or Citizen Salary up to $150k Super DOE We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our clients dynamic Team. As an FMCG Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various engineering projects within the fast-moving consumer goods sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Lead the planning, design, and implementation of engineering projects related to FMCG production processes, packaging, and logistics. Develop project scopes, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and develop mitigation strategies. Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Manage project budgets, resources, and expenses to ensure cost-effective delivery. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions to optimize project outcomes. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in FMCG engineering. Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in project management within the FMCG industry Strong technical skills in engineering principles, CAD software, and project management tools. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous. PMP or other project management certifications are desirable.
