Your Role at Nextt:Join us in making a difference As a disability support worker at Nextt, you'll play a crucial role in planning and delivering health support for our participants.Nextt is seeking passionate and reliable female disability support workers to deliver high physical care support, community access and assistance with activities of day living for our participants who have spinal cord injury in Newcastle. Your skills and experience:Manual Handling Bowel care Catheter careMedication managementAssistance with activities of daily livingMeal managementMobility Support BlacksmithsParticipant has a spinal cord injury. Assistance with high care supports (Paraplegic)/ SchizophreniaShifts times:7am - 10am and 5pm - 7pm daily/ Community Access: 12 - 2pm Wednesday'sEleebanaParticipant has a spinal cord injury and requires full assistance with mobility and personal care needs.Shift times:8:30am 10:30am / 12:30pm 2:30pm / 6pm 8pm and 7pm 9pm Opportunity to pick up community access shift Saturday's 10:30am 4pm. WhitebridgeParticipant has spinal cord injury and requires personal care assistance, hoist transfers, catheter care, assistance with passive exercises and community access (uses disability taxi).Shift times:6:30 - 8:30/9am (2 SW'S) and 8:30 - 10:30pm (1 SW) x 7days.Requirements:To thrive at Nextt, you'll need: NDIS workers screening check Working with children check NDIS Quality Safety and You module certificate - or willing to obtain Car with Comprehensive Insurance Drivers Licence First Aid - CPR We embrace workplace diversity, actively encouraging candidates from diverse backgrounds to join us, including those with disabilities, LGBTQIA community members, and First Nations and Torres Strait Islander candidates
