About the role: Reporting to the NSW Projects Team, this role is focused on delivering projects safely and within cost and schedule targets. The role will support the Project Engineers/Managers, primarily during the Execution and Commissioning stages of projects, to successfully achieve all the project objectives safely and within Cost & Schedule constraints. The client is willing to consider qualified candidates from out of State and if successful, accommodation and one flight per month will be provided. Location: VIVA Energy Gore Bay Terminal - Greenwich, NSW, 2065 Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Participate in project construction planning and development workshops such as Construction safety reviews, Constructability & other meetings in support of site execution Proactively planning, managing, coordinating, tracking and running all aspects of the construction phase to ensure nominated scope is implemented in a safe, timely and cost effective manner Construction & Commissioning Management: Supervision of the pre-construction, construction and commissioning phase and work across all construction disciplines associated with the project Liaising with relevant authorities and all relevant stakeholders as required; Inspecting scope of work on a timely basis and upon completion, ensuring all quality and safety factors are in line with project requirements. About you: Proven supervision experience and safety performance management in fuel storage facilities Previous experience in Brownfield construction (Essential) Construction experience within a refinery or terminal environment (Desirable) Certified Confined Space Entry (CSE) qualifications (Essential) Permit writing experience (Desirable) Familiarity with construction and project management software programs (Highly Desirable) Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills About the Contract: Viva Energy, is one of Australia's leading energy companies.
