We're currently looking for a Kitchenhand (Part Time) to help our chefs make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens. You will support the Kitchen and Food & Beverage operations with cleaning and maintaining the Kitchen equipment all while maintaining our hotel hygiene standards. Every day is different, but you'll mostly be: Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes What We need from you: ideally must have weekend availability in the morning evening availability on weekdays Right to legally work in Australia Passion for delivering great service to our guests Previous experience as a Kitchenhand / Steward ideally in a busy kitchen hotel environment would be an advantage Ability to working to deadlines and support the kitchen team in busy service periods Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team What you can expect from us: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
