The Role Reporting into the Lead Construction Manager, the Substation Construction department are seeking a qualified Construction Manager with Substation or heavy industrial experience to join their team. Responsibilities of this role include: Managing and delivering on projects as allocated by the Lead Construction Manager Managing WHS, Environmental and Quality systems for the work group and subcontractors Providing leadership, communication and supervision to all employees and subcontractors Managing key customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure that the agreed services are delivered in a timely manner Planning and coordinating the works allocated and managing the overall performance of the work group- including in productivity, financial, employee commitment, customer service and compliance. To be successful in this role, you must possess Experience in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant equivalent background experience in construction of substation and/or high voltage infrastructure projects and civil activities is highly desirable, current SA drivers licence; current first aid and CPR certification; and the ability to work away, depending on the pipeline of projects Candidate will need to undergo a pre-employment screening, including a medical and police check.
