About Our Client The Townsville City Council are seeking a Learning & Development support officer to join their water operations team on a 5-month assignment with the potential of a permanent position. Position outline: Perform all necessary administrative functions to support learning and development solutions within council including but not limited to the scheduling and recording of participants, maintenance of training program and personnel files, maintaining learning venues ensuring they are presentable and appropriate to the learning program being delivered, updating training records on the HRIS and LMS employee files, preparation, and dissemination of learning resource s, catering requirements etc. Experience with Plat Core and ServiceNow is desirable. If not, must be proficient with learning new systems. Booking training and uploading certificates. Key skills required: Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of customer service to all stakeholders both internal and external. Knowledge of employment programs at State and National level pertaining to apprenticeship and traineeship employment with an understanding of organisational design and workforce planning principles.
