The opportunity HealthPathways is a web-based health information site which helps clinicians guide patients through the complex local health system. HealthPathways provides support in assessing and managing patients (including accessing specialist advice and support) and clear referral pathways for their patients to general community and secondary care services. The pathways are developed in collaboration between general practitioners, specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals across all sectors. The aim of HealthPathways is to improve coordination and integration of primary and secondary care, to identify local health care needs and service gaps, and to provide patients with better access to healthcare. Employment Term Fixed Term Temporary full-time, up to 30/06/2024 with a possibility of an extension not exceeding 6 months. Benefits Salary rates between $2864.10 - $3185.10 p.f. (AO3) Annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer superannuation contribution Other employment benefits may include: salary sacrificing options, locality allowances, employee wellness and assistance programs and access to corporate discounts Role requirements This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty. The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following: Possession of sound interpersonal skills to liaise and consult with staff and clients at all levels and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Demonstrate the ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work to meet deadlines and commitments with minimal supervision. Possession of sound computer skills for word, excel and data base applications with relevance to Queensland Health information systems. Ability to provide general administrative support, including diary management, monitor incoming correspondence and communications.
