Looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to implement Salesforce-based solutions & conduct reviews for software development & configuration 12 months contract role with possible extension. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: You will implement Salesforce-based solutions using Apex programming language, Lightning Web Components, Integrations (RestAPI, SOAP, Platform Event) technologies, Process Builder, and Flow Builder and conduct code reviews and engage in peer programming approaches to software development and configuration. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Implement Salesforce-based solutions using Apex programming language, Lightning Web Components, Integrations (RestAPI, SOAP, Platform Event) technologies, Process Builder, Flow Builder, and others. Develop, configure, and deploy business applications on the Salesforce Field Services Platform to support business functions and meet end-user needs. Develop and enhance the Azure DevOps Pipeline scripts to get a better developer experience for the teams to ship the code. Work with a team to understand CICD pipeline & deployment issues and help them fix and move the code to environments. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Demonstrated experience administering Salesforce Platform, deployment approaches and automation, and utilisation of existing CICD tools (such as Azure DevOps, SFDX, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and similar). Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development and understanding of the salesforce component structure and deployment issues to resolve. The ability to perform/debug Salesforce deployment issues/test Class failures to identify the root cause and fix them. Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, design patterns, and effective management of platform limitations. Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies in a government setting and the context of the following systems/practices: establishing and configuring cloud services (EC2, Storage, CDN, DNS, Lambda Function, etc). Jira, Confluence, Source control systems, and Continuous Delivery tools Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is highly desirable. Salesforce Developer certification and/or Salesforce Lightning experience in addition to software development experience would be highly desirable. Experience and/or knowledge of modern Cloud-based technology platforms is highly desirable. Relevant tertiary qualifications related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or associated field and/or equivalent industry experience highly desirable.
