Senior Civil Engineer — The Narrows, Darwin

Description Due to recent project wins and increase in demand for our consulting engineering services, Stantec Community Development team is seeking to appoint experienced Civil Engineers in our Darwin office. We have a strong pipeline of work in the Land Development (subdivision) and Building sectors (civil) and are seeking to grow the technical and leadership capabilities to manage this growth. We are seeking to appoint the following professionals: Civil Engineer Senior Civil Engineer About the role This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and sectors. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design and construction documentation. The role will require independent design, project delivery and stakeholder management. The role will suit will someone who has good technical design background, strong consulting engineering and project delivery skills over a range of including clear knowledge of standards and processes. Day to day tasks would involve: Civil design mainly relating to urban, land, buildings and subdivisions Construction phase support, design review, stakeholder management, liaison with authorities, reporting, contract administration and quality audits. Liaising with engineers, designers, and drafters Adhering to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures. Managing clients and other consultants. Assist with project management and business development. Support Project Leaders Managers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction. Mentor and develop other team members as required. To be successful for this role you'll need: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Demonstrated experience in the civil engineering related to design and delivery of urban, land, buildings and subdivisions Knowledge of applicable Australian standards, codes and state requirements Obtain CP Eng and NT Registration as soon as eligible Eligible to obtain Defence baseline security clearance What we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
