Your New Role As the Finance Business Partner - Sales, you'll serve as the crucial link between finance, sales, and marketing, ensuring alignment of financial strategies with the dynamic objectives of our Sales and Marketing Teams. Primarily based at our head office in South Melbourne, you will also be spending time at our Warehouse in Dandenong South. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding short and long-term financial planning, overseeing budgets, providing insightful analysis, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your ability to cultivate strong relationships with our sales and marketing teams will be instrumental in driving financial and strategic success within our organisation. Your Day to Day Gather and synthesise data for Profit and Loss (P&L) analysis. Engage in scenario planning to navigate potential financial scenarios. Spearhead development of comprehensive fixed budgets, collaborating with sales and marketing teams. Monitor month-to-month execution of plans, balancing revenue and expense management. Craft detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports. Analyse financial and operational data to provide actionable insights. Prepare and present reports to executives and/or the Board of Directors. Create robust financial forecasts spanning 4-18 quarters. Conduct regular re-forecasting incorporating real-time market dynamics. Provide ad-hoc analysis and strategic recommendations to management. Your Skills CA or CPA Qualified. Mastery of financial principles including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Strong analytical capabilities to distil complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills for translating financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Adaptability to navigate evolving business conditions and shifting priorities. Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis tools, and enterprise-level financial software. Track record of fostering strong business partnerships, especially with sales teams. Advanced problem-solving skills and experience with NetSuite and BI tools advantageous.
