They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join their team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading hydraulic engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing company. DUTIES. Lead hydraulic engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements Conduct detailed hydraulic analysis and modeling using advanced software tools Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions for complex engineering challenges Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree is advantageous Minimum of 8 years of experience in hydraulic engineering, with a focus on water resources, stormwater management, and/or flood modeling Design Practitioner, FPAS Accreditation and CPeng is advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Proven track record of successful project management and delivery CULTURE.
