Why this role mattersCorps is a community-focused church, partnering with the wider community to help transform one life at a time with the love of Jesus.About the roleWe are seeking a values-driven Recycling Assistant who will assist with the maintenance and safe operation of the centre, including operating a forklift and driving a manual Pantech truck, when required.You will successfullyCustomer service delivery: The successful applicant will be able to deliver a high standard of customer service, presenting with a friendly and helpful manner while receiving containers from customers seeking a refund.Accuracy while counting and sorting eligible containers and recording the numbers.Cash handling: This position is responsible for using a cash register and accurately counting cash to give customers their refunds.Confident forklift operation to move cages in the depot, load the Cleanaway truck, and empty IBCs full of glass into the hook bin.Drive a manual Pantech truck to pick up bins full of recyclable containers from hotels.Assisting with keeping the premises clean and tidy.You will haveManual Driver LicenceForklift licence.This is a casual position located in Bundamba, QLD.
