Your opportunity To provide and undertake a diverse range of confidential administration support services across the Mackay Hospital and Health Service. About the Team Business Administration Support Services (BASS) provides a mechanism to support various work units within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service with appropriately skilled administration staff to backfill administration positions to meet service delivery needs. The vast majority of the roles for which BASS provides support are patient-facing roles and will involve interaction with patients. The vacancies BASS supports occur as a result of various forms of planned, unplanned or extended leave, including but not limited to: Emergent leave Planned Leave Secondments / Higher duty appointments Approved project specific work About our Hospital and Health Service Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
