Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region Hillcrest Primary School Teacher - Early Childhood Education 00006622 Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (SEA GA 2021) Advertised Vacancy Number: IPS/TCH884468 This is a nine (9) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2024 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency Hillcrest Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Teacher - Early Childhood Education. This position is for a Kindergarten teacher that will be responsible for two Kindergarten groups. The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated, energetic and possess the qualities to promote excellence, build effective teams and implement an innovative curriculum. You should have Early Childhood qualifications to match the position. You will ideally possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and have the ability to work in a highly collaborative manner. As an Early Childhood Education Teacher, you should be a reflective person who seeks out new opportunities and be focused on your own professional growth. Established in 1950, Hillcrest PS is located in the suburb of Bayswater and is prominently situated on the crest of a large hill. Hillcrest PS serves children predominantly from the suburbs of Bayswater, Bedford and Embleton and has a growing school population. The school has a strong connection and involvement within the local community. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
