About the Role: The Senior Content Designer will play a pivotal role in providing digital communications and web content design support to the department. This position involves collaborating with external agencies, project teams, business representatives, and subject matter experts to ensure exceptional end-to-end user experiences. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver best-practice online projects, consultancy services, and expert advice to enhance end-user satisfaction and foster positive relationships with business units. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop audience-driven web content and process a high volume of advanced web publishing requests across the department ecosystem. Ensure compliance with legislation and online accessibility standards to efficiently address user needs and uphold the department's reputation for user-friendly content. Develop educational materials, deliver training, and provide support and feedback to build the department's capacity to deliver accessible online services. Evaluate the effectiveness of web content to provide evidence-based recommendations, meeting user needs while increasing efficiencies and reducing costs for business units. Lead and implement a culture of continuous improvement, prioritizing customer needs in web content design and information architecture. Develop and maintain partnerships across the department to enhance employee understanding of best-practice online communication standards, resulting in business units taking responsibility for the performance and maintenance of their web content. Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications in web content design, communications, marketing or equivalent Experience in Craft Content Management System Special Conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration: ASO6: $97,022 - $102,626 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
