We bring brands to life The opportunity: Reporting directly to theDivisional General Manager - Footwear, the focus of the Head of Retail - Footwear position is to drive the operational strategies for all Retail concepts to optimize market positioning and meet financial objectives. Responsible for building, implementing, and training on operational efficiencies in order to achieve sales goals and profit margins. Applying a hands-on approach this leader will be constantly measuring the business results and retail environment to make the appropriate strategic and tactical adjustments to drive results. Key duties and responsibilities: Full ownership of retail channel P&L by optimizing sales and meet all financial targets and KPI’s. In collaboration with the brand teams, develop and execute key initiatives and strategies that will innovate the day-to-day operations of the stores to increase sales (service), reduce cost (payroll/shrink) and drive profitability and conversion. Partner with cross operational – Merchandising, Planning, Store Development, Marketing– to properly plan and execute all operational activities in the stores. Manage store level execution through the Areat Managers and Store Managers to ensure maximization of sales and profit, outstanding customer service, compliance to policies and operational standards. Provide consistent coaching of Area Managers in the areas of business planning, selling skills, leadership, and operational excellence to ensure the financial achievement for Retail. Lead the execution of retail staff onboarding and training Oversee the implementation and execution of all instore digital strategies to enhance both the employee and consumer experience to create efficiencies and heightened storytelling. Align with Buying and Marketing team to implement initiatives to drive incremental traffic and increase conversion. Work effectively with the General Managers to ensure continuous innovation and development in every aspect of the business as well as effective day-to-day communications. In partnership with Human Resources, execute performance and career path development for all team members, both direct reports as well as store teams. Build and foster relationships with key partners within retail teams. Travel to stores to ensure the strategy, policies and procedures are executed in a consistent manner; to build productive relationships across the entire retail fleet to identify future talent; to remain current on all competitive activity.
