The opportunity You will be working within the delightful, collaborative, close-knit Human Centred Design Team alongside other highly experienced HCD professionals as we work together to improve the experiences of our customers, staff and partners. We are part way through a transformation program and are looking for your support on the exciting steps of translating the current state research into concepts and designs that will bring improved experiences for all. Our Senior User Experience Designers focus on ensuring customers can use our services intuitively and with minimal assistance and are clear about their rights and obligations. In this role, you will work collaboratively within a cross-functional team that is shaping our digital products and customer experience. This role is a key contributor to the SRO's significant systems transformation program. Reporting to the Human Centred Design Team Lead, you will be responsible for: Leading consultations and workshops with customers and other stakeholders. Closely collaborating with agile teams and to share and align design directions. Researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and testing digital product experiences. Translating concepts into user flows and wireframes to create intuitive user experiences. Making strategic design and UX decisions about both core and new functions and features. Who we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will have: Excellent collaboration and customer advocacy skills. At least four years' experience in leading user-centred design initiatives. The ability to rapidly visualise design concepts using standard UX software. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex ideas. Conceptual and problem-solving skills.
