About the role: Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch water quality, safety, and customer satisfaction? SA Water is seeking a dedicated individual to take on the challenge of maintaining our network's efficiency and meeting regional targets. As a Construction and Maintenance Worker at our Woodside location, you will be a key team contributor. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence and meeting performance targets. Your expertise in network maintenance and problem-solving will be pivotal in safeguarding water quality, enhancing safety measures, and addressing environmental concerns. In addition, your responsibilities will include: Safety First: Prioritize safety, identify hazards, and actively contribute to creating a safer work environment. Meeting Standards: Maintain water quality standards within specified timeframes and collaborate effectively to achieve set goals. Compliance Expert: Utilize systems, adhere to procedures, and manage resources efficiently to ensure seamless operations. Customer-Centric: Foster professional communication, resolve customer issues promptly, and maintain a customer-focused approach. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Essential: Class C Driver's license, effective communication, customer service skills, literacy, numeracy, and proficiency in electronic systems. Desirable: WZTM, Working at Heights, Crane, and Dogging Desirable: HC truck license Desirable: Excavator, Backhoe and Skid steer experience / accreditation and knowledge of OHS&W and Environmental procedures. Desirable: Experience in operating water and wastewater networks. Desirable: Certificate 3 in Water Operations, Special Conditions: Flexibility in hours, occasional travel, medical clearances, and some clearance checks are mandatory. Must be willing to participate in an on-call roster and provide 24/7 support as per business needs., (Allowances and overtime rates apply) You will be required to hold a current driver's license. You will be required to hold or obtain a construction industry white card.
