Focus Care is seeking applications from people in the Macquarie Park area (including Wentworth Point, Rhodes and Gladesville) to provide one on one in home support for our NDIS participants. With a minimum of 2 hours spent with each client, there is time to build rapport and rewarding connections. We offer an excellent training program that helps support workers to develop skills and specialisation in certain areas of disability support according to the specific needs of our participants. Shifts may suit Uni students studying nursing or a related allied health discipline. To apply, you need to have a driver’s licence, NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain one), your own reliable and registered vehicle, have had at least 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and be available to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week. Longer hours and increased workloads are available to the right candidates. The role may include weekend and overnight services if that suits your availability. We have shifts waiting to be filled right now Please note these roles pay casual hourly rates under the Disability classification, experienced Support Workers (more than 12 months in a similar role) will be appointed at Level 2 Pay Point 1 - $32.08 per hour for services Monday to Friday (Home Care Employees - SCHADS Award). Shift Allowances, Mileage Reimbursement, and Superannuation is paid in addition to this base rate. Award penalty rates apply to non-standard hours and weekend services.
