Job no: 523186 Work type: casual Location: Sydney, NSW Categories: Administration, Project Management A Project Officer provides practical and efficient support to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met by coordinating the project team and stakeholders in the Department of Employability in the Division of Education and Student Experience. This role will: Support the effective delivery of projects and initiatives. Develop and support project plans, schedules. Track and report on project deliverables to ensure metrics are in line with project plans. Provide project and administrative support to the project team and stakeholders. Assess and monitor project risks, issues and provide solutions to minimise risk. Coordinate project administration, workshops, stand ups, meetings, and minute taking. Manage assigned actions and report to stakeholders on project status. Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others. A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience: A relevant tertiary qualification and experience working on projects. Experience in the project life cycle and proven ability in the development of project plans, objectives and documentation. Extensive computer literacy and skills in Microsoft Office applications and project related databases and management systems.
