Focus of the Role The purpose of the role is to lead, plan and manage a technical team of technicians based at a Telstra site known as the LocalWestern Sydney which is located in Kemps Creek, New South Wales. The site team manage the warehousing and logistics of a number of Telstra's key corporate accounts. The Warehouse Supervisor (IT) must effectively support and drive the team to meet the high expectations of our customers, develop the technical workforce in their competence and confidence, and influence the business so the team remains competitive and effective. They must also exercise management and control on costs and assets, including fleet, spares, tools, products, and other discretionary items. They must also to be open to manage resources in various geographies to meet demand should that arise. We ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance. Instigate, lead, and manage a people plan to develop the workforce agility to meet new opportunities and change in the advent of T25. Ability to continually enhance your way of working in-line with the objectives and underpinning elements aligned to the Field Management System Role model coaching approach to enhance key outcomes and successfully achieve goals. Manage a program to ensure the successful implementation of new products & or process to the area. Timely and accurate communications to the team and stakeholders, using fit for purpose methodologies or technologies. Oversee, plan and/or deliver training, updates & or briefings to staff to ensure understanding of process & procedures. Manage the team to perform (or participate in) complex, specialised technical investigations to determine/confirm system and design standards and performance parameters for new or existing products, platforms, and associated network equipment technologies. Identification and action roadblocks that impact the performance of the individual or the team. Ensure a safe and fair work environment in accordance with Telstra Policies and processes. About You Proven competency in operating the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products such as Outlook, Word, and Teams. Diploma of Leadership and Management qualifications are desirable or the equivalent university level qualifications. Warehouse and logistics experience Demonstrated experience in working on large scale ICT network deployments. An Industry white card is also desirable. Candidates must be Australian Citizens and willing and able to attain an AGSVA Baseline Security clearance to be considered.
