Specialising in a wide range of services from construction cleaning, sandblasting, and commercial cleaning to project management, we're seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to steer our projects valued between $15,000 and $500,000. Role Overview: The Construction Cleaning Project Manager/Operations Manager will be pivotal in managing and executing our commercial cleaning and construction cleaning projects. This role requires someone who can ensure project delivery within time and budget constraints, uphold safety standards, and maintain the highest quality of work. This role offers extensive training. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end operations of construction cleaning projects including planning, execution, and closure. Ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to budget and quality standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, understanding their needs for commercial cleaning and sandblasting services. Implement and oversee safety procedures, including conducting toolbox talks. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient factory environment, showcasing our commitment to excellence in construction and commercial cleaning. Read and interpret simple 2D drawings to effectively manage and schedule projects into the manufacturing line, with a grasp on metal fabrication processes. Drive continuous improvement in operational practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in managing commercial and construction cleaning projects, with a deep understanding of sandblasting, post-construction cleanup, and specialized cleaning services. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; relevant qualifications in Project Management, Building, and Construction Management considered. Demonstrated ability to manage labour effectively to complete work on time. Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing safety and conducting toolbox talks. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and the ability to read simple 2D drawings.
